Blended Curriculum For Modern Education
Pedagogy needs to evolve to keep up with the changing needs of the 21st century. The pedagogy in India was shaped by the requirements laid down by the colonial powers and chiefly required recalling of facts and the curricula created reflected that need. The times have changed and the present pedagogy requires the teacher to encourage students to develop and communicate, reflect on, synthesise and apply knowledge. The NCERT has done significant work in this respect. However, no single curriculum has all the features that we require; hence we created our own student-centric curriculum that supports our vision.

The Shri Ram Global School’s flexible learning curriculum has the best content from NCERT, Next Education, CIE, ACCA and others.
Our methods include:
- Conducting classes for Olympiads, NTSE and P-SAT in order to keep our students on top of the competitive exams
- Integrated topic studies, rather than whole-group instruction in isolated skills
- Providing opportunities for children to learn by observing and experimenting with real objects
- Ensuring a balance of child and teacher-initiated activities
- Providing opportunities for spontaneous play as well as teacher-facilitated activities
- Assigning group projects in which cooperation can occur naturally
- Creating and making the children participate in a range of activities requiring the use of large and small muscles
- Exposure to good literature and music of the children’s own cultures and other cultures represented in the class
- Authentic assessment of each child’s developmental progress
- Allotting time for individuals or small groups of children to meet with the teacher for specific help in acquiring basic reading, writing, mathematical and other skills as needed
