data-original-title=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/azimpremjifoundation.org\/about\/who-we-are#block-menu-menu-about-menu\">Azim Premji Foundation<\/a>\u00a0is one of the largest not-for-profit organisations that has been working since 2000 with the elementary education system in rural government schools.<\/p>\n<p title=\"\" data-original-title=\"\">It is founded by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Azim_Premji\">Azim Hashim Premji,<\/a>\u00a0an Indian business tycoon, philanthropist, and the founder of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wipro\">Wipro Limited<\/a>\u00a0to contribute to a social cause and address the various developmental challenges facing the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\" title=\"\" data-original-title=\"\"><strong title=\"\" data-original-title=\"\">Azim Premji Foundation includes these Operating Units:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol title=\"\" data-original-title=\"\">\n<li title=\"\" data-original-title=\"\">Field Institutes, our network of District Institutes and affiliated Schools that currently work to improve public education system in India;<\/li>\n<li title=\"\" data-original-title=\"\">Philanthropy, the grants organization, so far referred to as Azim Premji Philanthropy that provides financial support through multi-year grants to not-for-profit organizations (NPOs) who serve the most vulnerable in our society<\/li>\n<li title=\"\" data-original-title=\"\">University in Bengaluru, set up in 2010, to run teaching programs and conduct research to contribute to the social sector in India, and to be an exemplar higher education institution \u2013 with inclusion and target is to see 95% of girls move to the next class each year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Their planned activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Holistic improvement school continuation of CR\u2019s 126 adolescent girls,<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ensuring their future readiness with life skill training as per WHO\u2019s core life skills set.<\/p>\n<p>Mentoring support, career counselling and tie-up with vocational institutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Effective counselling on mental health issues, counselling of parents especially the mothers. training of the senior students as change champions.<\/li>\n<li>Improving nutrition and contraceptive knowledge, antenatal care, vaccination rates, better knowledge of hygiene and diseases like HIV, TB, Hep-B, Dengue\/malaria, leprosy and Covid, sensitizing their slum communities<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0And enabling them to become changing champions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section
